Grandparents Mass FAQs

Q. What should I wear?
A. Whatever you want.  Some people dress up and some wear their favorite NDP attire. all we ask is that your outfit is appropriate for mass.
 

Q. What time should I arrive?
A. Check-in begins at the front desk by 8:45 a.m. Arrive with enough time to park and make your way to the gymnasium by 9:00 A.M. when Mass begins.
 

Q. Will there be valet parking?
A. No. But we will have golf cart shuttles to transport guests to the gym.
 

Q. Where should I park?
A. SELF-PARKING will be available on 98th Street and there are A limited number of handicapped Spaces near the gym. 
 

Q. Are Face masks required?
A. no. face masks are optional. please use your best judgement for your personal circumstance.
 

Q. What are the seating arrangements?
A. we will have assigned seating for mass so that grandparents will sit with their grandchildren


Q. When will my grandchild(ren) join me?
A. Students will join their grandparents right after first period, before Mass begins. 
 

Q. How will my grandchild(ren) find me?
A. We will have assigned seating. A student ambassador will seat you and your grandchild
 

Q. What's is being served at the reception?
A. We will have a light reception with pastries and beverages


Q. When will the event end?
A. The event ends at 11:00 p.m.
 

Q. Do I need to bring anything?
A. No, Just your smiling face.


Q. Can my grandchild(ren) leave with me after the event?
A. No, they will need to get back to class after the reception.


Q. will there be guided tours of the campus?
A. no. We have found that everyone is eager to leave afterwards to prepare for thanksgiving.
