The Dog Pound
The Dog Pound is our student cheering section and EVERY Saint from our freshman class to the seniors are members.
School spirit is the engine that drives the enthusiasm our students have for Notre Dame Prep. It is sparked by the faith and love that runs through our community. Our students, teachers, administrators and coaches form amazing bonds and that translate into students who are on fire NDP!
Our mascot, Samson and our Dog Pound leaders work hard all year to bring fun, competition and excitement to campus. You can support them by attending the games and performances of your fellow students and following the Dog Pound on Instagram!

The Dog Pound is made up of the entire student body of Notre Dame Prep. Dog Pound leaders are elected and they help organize the fun at pep rallies, support our spiritline at games, and they plan themes and activities for Spirit Weeks.
In short, Dog Pound leaders are in charge of fun on campus and at athletic events. They welcome our new freshman class, teach them how to cheer, and participate in time-honored traditions at NDP.
Our Mascot, Samson the St. Bernard, is always on hand to get the crowd fired up!
