Notre Dame Prep will host a screening of the movie Angst at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27 in the gym.
Anxiety affects us all, but with the constant use of digital devices and never being unplugged, teens are suffering from a type of anxiety called angst: feeling anxiety over relatively trivial problems. And although something may be trivial in the long run, it can seem very real to teens in the short term. So angst should not be ignored.
ANGST by IndieFli, is an independent film made to help those struggling with this type of anxiety. It is a tool to start a conversation and to help lessen the impact angst has on our students and the wider community. All are invited to join NDP as we confront this issue. Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps is featured in the film.
The doors open at 5:45 p.m. The whole community is invited. A panel of experts will be on hand to answer questions immediately after the movie ends.
This movie is appropriate for ages 10 years and up. The movie run time is 55 minutes.
