Spring Sports Wrapping Up Big

This is an exciting spring for our Saints!

  • Girls Lacrosse made it to the playoffs
  • D1 Lacrosse team won the state championship with am 11-6 victory over Salpointe Catholic on Friday, May 4.
  • Girls Tennis competed in the State Quarter finals on May 1 (awaiting results)
  • Boys Tennis team will play in the State Quarter finals, 3 p.m. on May 2, away vs. Salpointe.
  • The Boy's Volleyball team celebrated senior night on Monday, April 30 in a nail-biter at home.
  • Five Saints are competed at state in Track and Field. Competing for the Saints are Zack Gray - 400 m, Jack Cissne - High Jump, tied for 2nd overal with jump of 6'2", Grayson Fleitz - High Jump, placed 7th overall with a jump of 6'.0", Omasan Omatseye - 100m, placed 3rd overall with a time of 10.77 (a personal best and new NDP school record). The meet was held at Mesa Community College on May 2 and May 5.
  • Varsity Baseball lost against Verrado High School at Hohokam Stadium on Thursday, May 3. They will fight to stay alive in the double-elimination tournament on May 7 at 4 p.m. against Flowing Wells at Diablo Stadium. Go, Saints!
