Former AIA State Champion wrestler Hayes Rollins will take over the Notre Dame Prep wrestling program as head coach, Athletic Director Mark Cisterna announced.
The Notre Dame Prep athletic department had 60 winter Saints student-athletes named to the Sports360AZ All-Academic teams announced this week by the website. The award recognizes all winter varsity participants with a 3.00 GPA or better.
Notre Dame Prep Athletics will start practice for Winter Sports beginning the week of Nov. 30 for each of the sports including basketball, soccer and wrestling. Teams will be required to have 14 days of practice before the start of competition on Tuesday, Jan. 5. All student-athletes must have the Family ID registration completed before participating.
The state of Winter Sports (Basketball, Soccer, Wrestling) continues to be delayed based on the return to play metrics set by the AIA released on Thursday, Nov. 12. Notre Dame Prep coaches will communicate rescheduled tryout and practice information when available.
