The Notre Dame Prep volleyball team had eight players named to the 4A West Valley All-Region teams on Thursday and swept the Player and Coach of the Year honors for the region.
Notre Dame Prep senior volleyball libero McKenna Douglas has committed to play at San Diego State University for the Aztecs and will sign with the program on Nov. 10.
Sophomore Evan Hendrix was named the Arizona MaxPreps/AVCA Player of the Week by the organizations on Wednesday. She was one of 43 student-athletes honored by America’s source for high school sports and the leading volleyball organization for their performances during the week of August 30-September 5.
