Tryout Information

To participate in Spring sports for the 2022-23 school year, all athletes must register online to be cleared and approved before the first tryout or practice.  The NDP Athletic Department is using a NEW secure registration platform, Final Forms, that provides our families with a safe, easy and user-friendly way to register for Notre Dame Prep athletics.

The items required for clearance include the parent and student registration and required signatures, a current physical, student transportation form, transportation of a minor form and completing the Brainbook and Opioid education classes. The classes are for first-year and transfer students.

Student-athletes who are still competing in Winter sports, during the time of Spring tryouts, will be afforded an opportunity to try out for the Spring teams starting at the completion of the Winter playoffs at a date TBA. Students should work with Spring coaches to keep them in the loop of their intentions to tryout.

Spring Sports tryouts are being finalized

While we lock down exact dates and times, please ensure all registration paperwork is completed and uploaded to FinalForms. This includes the sports physical, the student transportation form, the transportation of a minor form (notarized, see front office for appointments), the completion certificates of the AIA concussion and opioid training videos and all e-signatures requested by FinalForms. ALL ATHLETES MUST ADD THE SPRING SPORT THEY ARE TRYING OUT FOR TO THEIR FINALFORMS ACCOUNT. Students missing any of these requirements will not be allowed to try out. This MUST be done to avoid AIA violations. Official practice schedules will be communicated by coaches by the conclusion of tryouts. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Softball

Tryout Dates: February 6, 7 & 8

Tryout times:  2:45-4:30pm.

                     7^th: 5:00pm-7:00pm 

Tryout Location: NDP softball field 

Practice Days: Monday-Thursday 

Practice times: 5:00pm-7:00pm until the end of February. 2:45pm-4:30/5:00pm starting in March-rest of season.
