NDP Athletic Families, here is our weekly recap!
Cheer/Pom
Our Cheer and Pom teams competed in the AIA State Championships from Jan. 20-21. On Friday, Cheer, Pom and Jazz all performed well enough to advance to Saturday's finals. When our Pom team took the stage they performed a nearly flawless routine, and earned the title of state runner-up. Our Jazz team also did well and earned the state runner-up title. Our Cheer team competed early on Saturday and finished in 8th place in a very competitive field. The team did take home the special Dynamic Dance Award. What a great weekend ladies! Now it's time to get ready for USA Nationals!
Girls' Soccer
Girls Varsity Soccer won two close games this past week. First a 2-1 win over Campo Verde. After going down 1-0 on a penalty kick, the Saints battled back with 2 goals to take down the Coyotes. Then on Friday, the Saints beat the Falcons from Cactus Shadows 1-0. The JV girls also won both of their games over Campo Verde 3-1 and Cactus Shadows 2-1.
