Hayes Rollins Named Wrestling Coach at Notre Dame Prep

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Former AIA State Champion wrestler Hayes Rollins will take over the Notre Dame Prep wrestling program as head coach, Athletic Director Mark Cisterna announced.

“I am looking forward to working with anyone and everyone that wants to be a part of our wrestling family,” said Rollins. “With God and some hard work, we can work to get here and accomplish your dreams and goals. I’m excited about being a part of the Notre Dame Family and getting to know everyone here.”

Rollins has served as an assistant coach since 2019 for Grindhouse Wrestling Club in Glendale and worked as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Sandra Day O’Connor High School, under Head Coach Tom DeVito.

Rollins graduated from Sandra Day O’Connor in 2013. He won the AIA State Championship at 112 pounds wrestling for O’Connor in 2010.

Rollins has a USA Bronze Level Coaching certificate.

He takes over for Jake Cranford.  Rollins and his wife, Meghan, have a son, Cannon.

Practice for the 2021-22 season starts on November 1 and registration is still open. Contact Coach Rollins at wrestling@ndpsaints.org with questions.
