Boys Golf Takes Second in Flagstaff at Ridge Invite

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Notre Dame Prep boys golf team finished second at the Ridge Invitational on Saturday , posting the second-best round on the day at 311 to move up into runner-up finish and top finish among Division II teams. Liberty won the team title at 588 after rounds of 295-292.

Sophomore Jack McLaughlin was the top finisher among the Saints with a sixth-place finish, shooting rounds of 74-77. Sophomore Jack Taylor was one stroke back at 152 with rounds of 76-76 on the Continental Country Club course.

Sophomore Matthew Gahan was the third scorer for the team at 166 (83-83), while Mitch Curran posted a two-day total of 167 (92-75). Sophomore Daniel Rowe shot rounds of 84-89.

The team will be in action again at the Aguila Open Oct. 21-22.
