On Wednesday, Feb. 5, two more Notre Dame Prep Football players made it official, signing their individual letters of intent at Football Signing Day to take their respective games to the next level.

Congratulations to the following senior student-athletes:

Mason Carter -- Concordia University Wisconsin
J.J. Francis -- Western Colorado University

The duo joined NDP Varsity teammates Dawson Dorward, Drew Jacobs, Jason Samis, Cody Wells and Nate Wootton, who signed their letters of intent in December.

"To see these guys grow not only as students but as athletes, this is really special," said head Varsity Football coach George Prelock. "This is a testament to all the hard work they've put in. It's hard to get to that next level. I'm so proud of them."

With friends, family and teammates in attendance, Carter and Francis put ink to paper and look forward to taking their respective games to the next level.  

"I'm so thankful for the entire process, from the coaching to my parents, who have all helped get me here," said Francis. "Coach Prelock has played a giant role in my growth and development through the football process. And to have all my friends and family show their support, I feel I made a good decision." 

Added Carter, "Coach Prelock has been No. 1 for me. He's always been there. If I had an issue, he'd address it. He knows everything about every position. He's been instrumental for me. What I'll always remember about NDP are the brothers I made playing here for 4 years. Every connection I've made -- from coaches to teammates -- they'll go with me forever."
