On Tuesday, April 9, seven Notre Dame Prep senior student-athletes made it official, signing their individual letters of intent to take their respective games to the next level.
Congratulations to the following student-athletes:
Sofia Colavita – Luther College – Soccer
Matthew Gahan – Regis University – Baseball
Ava Handel – Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute – Cross Country/Track & Field
Isaac Llenas – Cochise College – Baseball
Brody Martin – Benedictine College – Baseball
Evan Morozowich – Fort Lewis College – Cross Country/Track & Field
Jacob Trailer – Southwestern University – Lacrosse
Said Handel: "Today was a special moment. This marks a new start and gets me out of my comfort zone. This really felt like a culmination of all we had worked for, kicking us off into the next four years."
Said Llenas: "I'm going to miss my team here. I play with a great group of guys. This being my senior year, you couldn't ask for a better team. I'm going to miss them all. I transferred here my sophomore year, didn't know anybody and I immediately felt welcomed by the program and Coach Fischer. I can't wait to win a state championship this year. "
Said Trailer: "It meant a lot to sign the paper today. What I will take away from my time at NDP is the work ethic it requires to be a student-athlete. This school really prepared me in terms of not allowing myself to slack, as well as being the best version of myself."
Congratulations to all on your next endeavors!
