Notre Dame Preparatory is excited to announce Coach Andrew Doss as the new Head Basketball Coach.   

Coach Doss brings over 18 years of coaching experience in Arizona and California to NDP, most recently being the head basketball coach at Horizon High School. Coach Doss has nearly 200 wins as a high school head coach and has established a proven track record of building successful programs. This includes multiple 20+ win seasons and post-season success. His 2018 Clayton Valley "Ugly Eagles" team (Concord, CA) was nationally ranked in the top 25, and he earned recognition from multiple media outlets for his coaching style and player development. Twenty-eight of his former players have competed at the collegiate level. 

In addition to coaching at the high school level, Coach Doss has worked as a professional skills trainer, assisting in the development of collegiate athletes, professionals, and G League players. His experience includes working with players from Germany, France, Australia, and England. He has also mentored college athletes to navigate the transfer portal and pursue scholarship opportunities. 

Off the court, Coach Doss is a proud husband and father to his wife, Sarah, and their children, Kennedy and Cooper. He serves as a high school history and AP teacher. He has made it his mission to use basketball as a platform to help student-athletes grow as young men of integrity and faith. Serving as a Fellowship of Christian Athlete's Faculty Advisor in Arizona and California, he emphasizes the importance of faith, character, and servant leadership both on and off the court. 

It is these attributes that Coach Doss holds close and will serve as the foundation of the Notre Dame Prep basketball program: A commitment to winning with integrity and cultivating relationships that continue long after the final buzzer has sounded. Coach Doss is honored to be a part of the Notre Dame Prep family and looks forward to building on a tradition of excellence. 

He has four standards and values that he exhibits and expects his student-athletes to carry out as members of the NDP Basketball program.
