Eight students stand behind a table with signed papers and sports equipment, in front of a large banner that reads "River Valley High School Saints."

Notre Dame Preparatory proudly celebrated eight outstanding student-athletes during yesterday’s Spring Signing Day, marking a major milestone as they committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Surrounded by family, friends, coaches, and members of the NDP community, these seniors were recognized for their years of dedication, perseverance, and growth in their respective sports. Each signing represents not only athletic achievement, but also a commitment to excellence in the classroom and a deep embodiment of NDP’s mission to form students in mind, body, and spirit.

The following student-athletes were honored:

Whitney Ladich will continue her soccer career at Bates College (Division III).
Luke Kanigan will play lacrosse at Benedictine University (Division III).
Kaden Casey will compete in lacrosse at Arizona State University (club level).
Lyndsey Zahnow will pursue collegiate ice skating at Michigan State University.
Cashton Borden will continue his baseball career at Paradise Valley Community College.
Greyson Bott will play baseball at Cal State LA (Division II).
Luca Amoroso will play football at the United States Merchant Marine Academy (Division III).
Ethan Sobik will continue his basketball career at Wheaton College (Division III).

These student-athletes have balanced the demands of academics and athletics while representing Notre Dame Preparatory with integrity and pride. Their achievements are a testament to countless hours of hard work, the support of their families, and the guidance of their coaches and teachers.

Spring Signing Day serves as a celebration of not just where these students are going, but the journey that brought them here. As they prepare to take this next step, they carry with them the values of their Catholic education and the lifelong bond of the Saints community.

Congratulations to all eight signees — once a Saint, always a Saint. 💜⚜️
