Choir is offered as an elective and is preferably taken both semesters. Students perform at a number of school events, competitions and special celebrations in the greater community.
This mixed choir is for those new to choral ensembles who want to develop their skills further before advancing on to one of the auditioned ensembles. Students will learn basic vocal pedagogy and technique, sight reading skills and perform a variety of music from various choral styles. No experience or audition is needed to join.
An auditioned choir for treble singers, this is an ensemble that learns advanced repertoire and regularly performs both on-campus and off-campus. Bella Voce expands on the concepts of vocal technique/pedagogy, explores historical and cultural connections in a wide variety of music and sharpens sight-reading skills at a high level. Bella Voce regularly competes at the Jazz/Madrigal Festival in Flagstaff as well as music festivals outside of Arizona.
Coming Soon! This auditioned, mixed ensemble is made up of select singers that perform a variety of repertoire- from madrigals to vocal jazz/pop and everything in between. Auditions will be held later in the year- stay tuned for more information!
