New Freshman School Information

We hope your families have had a wonderful summer and are as excited as we are to welcome the Class of 2030 to NDP! Here are a few reminders and helpful info to ensure a successful start to the school year.

Student-Parent Orientation, Tuesday, August 4 (8:30 - 11 a.m.)

  • Please enter campus via the South end loop road (just south of the baseball field). Please park in the senior lot adjacent to Bemis Field. Security and NDP ambassadors will direct you to the gym for check-in. (Please see attached map)

  • Check-in will open at 8:00 AM. All will receive printed course schedules, a copy of Saints 101, and name tags.

  • Students must be in full Mass Dress and in accordance with handbook requirements for hair, grooming, etc.

  • All will convene in the gym by 8:30 for a welcome from Principal Dragonetti, Father Anthony, and Senior speakers.

  • Students will then be escorted by their Senior Big Saints for their four-station orientation which includes yearbook/ID photos, hype session with the Dog Pound, welcome from other NDP leaders, and the chance to physically "walk their schedule".

  • Parents will remain in the gym for further presentations from Principal Dragonetti, Assistant Principals, Mother's Guild, Finance and Tuition, and Athletics. 

  • Parents will then be invited to coffee and refreshments with the opportunity for one-on-one conversations with NDP leadership. 

  • Parent and Student sessions will be re-united outside the gym at 11:00 AM.

First Day of Instruction, Wednesday, August 5 (8 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.):

  • Regular Uniform Dress for students

  • 1 - 8 Bell Schedule
