The 6th Annual NDP Mardi Gras Giving Day was held Tuesday, Feb. 13. This is always the day that we ask everyone in our community to #giveitup4NDP and help us raise money for the Saints Fund. This year we raised more than $170,000 in one day. The money will be used for facility maintenance, faith formation, curriculum, athletic upgrades and other school related necessities.
"It's was a celebration of all things Notre Dame Prep" Brie Dragonetti, NDP principal said. "The entire campus was alive in true Mardi Gras fashion to help raise money for the immediate needs of our students and campus."
We surpassed our $150,000 goal. "I credit our students and their enthusiasm for the continued success of Giving Day," Sydney Glenn, Dir. of Advancement and Communication, said. "Giving Day is fun, exciting and successful each year because we take the time to highlight and celebrate students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff members and programs that make NDP the best Catholic High School in the Valley," she added.
Despite glitches with our NDP Live! Livestream, we were able to use text messages and social media to engage our community. Some of the interviews are available on our YouTube channel.
House St. Blaise won the House competition and boys and girls basketball tied for the team competition.
