Over this summer, members of our girls' varsity and junior varsity basketball teams worked together to help a local non-profit called Help in Healing Home! The girls sourced, collected and delivered valuable supplies to this worthy organization. Help in Healing Home (HIHH) provides small, affordable, home-like settings for their guests and their caregivers who are undergoing extensive cancer treatments or life-saving transplants. HIHH guests are usually far from home and family while enduring their arduous medical journey. They were very grateful for the small comforts the NDP girls basketball team provided.

Some members of the girls' basketball teams have family members who have been touched by cancer, so this cause was personal for our NDP Saints.

The girls' generosity impressed Ron Jones, the Chairman of the HIHH Board. "What a beautiful (in every way) group of young ladies! They are fulfilling their team spirit on and off the court. We are blessed by their generosity and thank them for their leadership. God bless each of them!" he said.
