Saints Hockey capped off a remarkable postseason run by claiming the Division I State Championship in front of an unforgettable crowd at Mullett Arena. The title marks a major milestone for the program and a moment that will be remembered across the Saints community.
The Saints were led by a complete team effort throughout the postseason, and special recognition goes to Caden Wright, who was named the 2026 Division I Warrior Playoff MVP, presented by the Arizona High School Hockey Association (AHSHA).
From the opening faceoff, the energy in the arena was electric. The Dog Pound delivered all night, creating a true home-ice atmosphere and fueling the Saints as they battled Mountain Ridge on the state’s biggest stage. The support from students, families, alumni, and fans played a key role in an unforgettable championship environment.
This championship is a testament to the team’s commitment, resilience, and belief in one another throughout the season. Through adversity and high-pressure moments, the Saints stayed focused on their goal and finished the journey with a state title.
The Saints community will celebrate the team’s championship run during break on Monday, February 9. Families, students, and fans are invited to join in recognizing this special achievement.
Go Saints!
