Notre Dame Preparatory High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Dennis Coyle as its new Athletic Director. Coyle will assume his role in Summer 2026, bringing a proven record of leadership, program development, and a deep commitment to student-athlete success.
Coyle joins Notre Dame Prep after seven successful years at Cincinnati Country Day School (Ohio), where he served as both Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. During his tenure, he led a period of sustained excellence, highlighted by five consecutive conference championships. His leadership consistently emphasized character development, accountability, and competitive integrity—values that align closely with Notre Dame Prep’s mission.
“Notre Dame Preparatory represents everything I value in education-based athletics: strong academics, a commitment to faith, and a focus on developing the whole person,” said Coyle. “I am honored to join this community and look forward to working with students, families, and coaches to continue building a program centered on excellence, integrity, and service.”
As Athletic Director, Coyle will oversee all aspects of Notre Dame Prep’s athletic programs, including coaching leadership, program administration, compliance, and student-athlete development. His vision reflects the school’s commitment to fostering leadership, faith formation, and community engagement through athletics.
“We are excited to welcome Dennis Coyle to Notre Dame Preparatory,” said Principal Brie Dragonetti. “His experience, energy, and commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field make him an outstanding fit for our community and mission.”
Coyle’s appointment follows a comprehensive search process focused on identifying a mission-aligned leader who will continue to advance the school’s athletic vision while supporting its Catholic identity.
Notre Dame Preparatory looks forward to welcoming Coyle and his family to the Scottsdale community and to the continued success of its student-athletes under his leadership.
