D3 State Champions

JV State Champions

It was a night to remember for Notre Dame Preparatory Hockey as the Saints officially completed their program “Hat Trick,” capturing State Championships at multiple levels and cementing a historic season for NDP.

The JV Saints set the tone early in their championship matchup, delivering a commanding 5–1 victory to claim the State title. From the opening faceoff, JV controlled the pace of play with disciplined defense, sharp passing, and relentless pressure in the offensive zone. Their complete team effort proved too much for their opponent, and when the final buzzer sounded, the Saints celebrated a well-earned championship. Ashton Cope was named JV Game MVP for his standout performance and leadership on the ice.

D3 followed with a thrilling championship battle of its own, securing a hard-fought 6–4 win to bring home another State title for the program. In a high-energy, back-and-forth contest, the Saints responded to every challenge with resilience and composure. Timely scoring and strong defensive stands sealed the victory and completed the sweep. Greyson Weinkamer earned D3 Game MVP honors for his exceptional impact in the title game.

With these victories, NDP Hockey achieved its goal of a State Championship “Hat Trick” — three teams, three titles — a remarkable accomplishment that reflects the strength, depth, and unity of the entire program. From the athletes on the ice to the coaches behind the bench and the families and fans in the stands, this milestone represents a true community effort.

The 2026 season will be remembered not only for the trophies earned, but for the commitment, teamwork, and championship character displayed by every Saint who contributed along the way.

Three teams. Three championships. One unforgettable season for Saints Hockey. 🏒🏆
